Yes - It's very important that the names on your flight bookings match exactly as they appear on your passport for international flights and your government-issued identification for domestic flights.
Avoid using aliases, nicknames, or abbreviations, as this can lead to being denied boarding.
Please verify that your first name, middle name (if applicable), surname, title, and date of birth are all accurate as per your passport or government-issued ID.
If you don't have your passport with you when you are making a booking, make sure to use the names that will be in your passport as these need to match. Email us your passport details when you have them so we can add them to your booking.
If you have only one name, and will have only one name in your passport, follow these instructions. When you are entering the traveller details, in the first name field enter the first 3 letters of your name, in the surname field enter your full name.
It’s really important that you add a note into the Additional Comments section to let us know that you have just one name in your passport so we can update this before issuing the tickets. If you don’t let us know we may need to charge to update the name on the ticket later.
If you get a message when you are booking saying your names are too long, please try removing any middle names. If you get this message again add your surname and as many letters of your first name as you can. Remove any spaces or hyphens. It's important to add your full first names and surname in the Additional notes section so we can add these to your booking.
